    At the EFLA virtual workshop on the New Deal for Consumers and its food law implications, an overview of the New Deal for Consumers will be provided by Mrs Laura Radut, DG Justice and Consumers, European Commission. This will be followed by a presentation by Dr Franz Ulberth, Joint Research Centre, European Commission, addressing the JRC harmonised testing methodology and the outcome of the EU wide survey of quality related characteristics of branded food products. The workshop will be concluded with the legal discussion on the presented topics.
